One of my dearest friends, Esperanza Spalding, wrote this song (Cinnamon Tree) for me during a time when I wasn’t feeling my best. I’ve heard it in so many iterations, but the final track on the album is just amazing. Her new and phenomenal album, Radio Music Society, is out - check it out!
